"Out of the glistening mass, a shattering tone fills the air. The vehicle convulses, lurching into itself from segmented panels of metal and glass, folding and splitting into smaller pieces. Brilliant lights surge in unison, shining through every gap in the framework. For a split second, breaking free of constraint and purpose, a curvaceous mechanical figure emerges."

This is one of the most intense projects I have ever undertaken, completed entirely from scratch in Photoshop CS5 with the Wacom Intuos4 Tablet. The piece took over 50 hours to finish over a period of four weeks (I have two jobs, which doesn't leave much spare time). I used various brushes, effects and textures to create a digital piece with an underlying traditional style of colour and texture-work. The use of harsh angled sections and clean cut edges on the surfaces were used to convey the idea of a freshly broken body, fractured in an unnatural fashion.
